Jenny is twelve years old and has cerebral palsy. She works with therapists in the California Children’s Services Medical Therapy Program, which serves children and youth from birth to age 21 with a wide variety of disabling conditions. She wants to be able to zip her new red hoodie by herself. Her occupational therapist (OT) saw a 3D printed zipper pull that would be the perfect solution. Her OT is looking for resources to make it but does not have a way to purchase 3D printer patterns.

Jenny wants to be able to walk in a school fundraiser with her friends but isn’t sure she has the stamina for a 6K walk. Her physical therapist (PT) is looking for the latest research about increasing strength and endurance for children with difficulty walking but funding for subscriptions for academic journals is not available.

Your donation today will allow us to create resources including an expanded resource website, journal subscriptions, and subscriptions to software that will be available to medical therapists statewide to enhance their services for children like Jenny.
